Comments: This is my 21st year in truck racing and with the help of my team and sponsors we are hoping to end up on top this year instead of 3rd &2nd as in the past 3yrs. It has been a while since I finished on top  - 1995/1997 !

I am fleet engineer in the family business which specialises in heavy transport www.collett.co.uk where I work with the help of my two sons Richard (yes there are 3 generations of us) and Jack, I also have a daughter Rebecca who got married recently and is a skating coach in Nottingham. 

When not truck racing I like to play poker and am also in a darts and domino team. 

I am also on the committee of the BTRA and have had the honour of being Chairman for the last 3 yrs helped by my wife Cath who is the club treasurer and long suffering team hospitality chief also on the team is my brother in law Lyndon white top fabricator, Gareth Davis who also runs his own truck and Ralph Greenwood.
